Amnesia is one of the most famous clubs in Ibiza. On 11th June 2011 they had a grand opening party and decided to create a marketing partnership with BlackBerry.
BlackBerry chose the Croatian developers CODETEN to design the application for door staff . CODETEN is a partnership of BlackBerry developers that has developed a large number of BlackBerry applications for consumers as well as for businesses.
For this project CODETEN had a very short time to create and test this application, and they delivered the complete project ahead of the deadline. The application was designed exactly to specifications. A speciall design feature was for use during busy periods, where scanning large numbers such as the PIN QR bar codes is done very fast and the data is delivered to Amnesia club in real time.
The application also recognises if the scanned QR code does not represent the BlackBerry PIN number and notifies the user straight away, so they can try again.
This is just the beginning of the cooperation between BlackBerry, Amnesia and CODETEN with more features coming soon.
